Welcome to the website of our luxurious and very charming Guest House in Renesse.

Huys Grol is a completely restored, former country residence built near the inside rim of the coastal dunes of the island of Schouwen Duiveland. Guesthouse ‘t Huys Grol is centrally located, directly at the edge of the centre of Renesse.

Our beautiful guest house offers ten luxurious and comfortable guest rooms, where you will feel at ease straight away. No room is the same. All rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished and fully equipped.

The house was originally built in 1599, after which it was rebuilt several times, most recently in 1870. The house is listed as a cultural heritage site.

Wake up to a delicious breakfast

Normally the extensive breakfast – with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice – is served in your room. If the weather permits it, you can enjoy your breakfast in our beautiful garden. At a specified time of your choosing (between 8.30 and 09:30 am) we can serve your breakfast and knock on your bedroom door, or we can bring it out to the beautiful garden if you want to enjoy your breakfast there.

Many kilometres of beach

Huys Grol is just 100 meters away from the cosy town centre with its numerous shops and restaurants. In just 15 minutes you can walk to the North Sea beach. Here, you can swim in the sea or take a long walk on the many miles of beach and through the dunes.
